It\'s Demolition Time!

Friendship Development Associates is one step closer to the construction of the Glass Lofts! We are very excited to announce that demolition of the blighted buildings on the corner of Penn Avenue and North Fairmount Street has just begun! Take a stroll down the Avenue to check it out, the buildings are almost gone! Thank you to MBE contractors and NEJ Abatement who did the asbestos removal and to Apcon Inc. who is working with Sota Construction Services to complete the demolition of the structures. Five Structures have been razed as of 11/27/07. The remaining structure should be down by the end of the week and the floor slabs and footing removal should be completed in about two weeks. |
