RFP – CALL FOR POEM: PERMANENT PUBLIC ART

The Friendship Development Associates is seeking an original poem that will be engraved on four new public benches to be installed at Baum Grove (400 Roup Avenue).   For complete RFP, please see the attached file.

Deadline: January 5, 2007.

Submissions
•   One original four-line poem (a quatrain)

•   The MAXIMUM number of characters for EACH line is 60, including spaces and punctuation. This count does not include the author’s name.

•   One entry per person

•   Submissions by mail only. Mail to:

       Electronic entries will NOT be judged.

•   Submissions must be postmarked no later than January 5, 2007, or they will not be judged.

•   Each submission should contain the following:

Cover page with author’s name, address, phone number(s), and 100-word biography

Three copies of the poem on single-sided 8 ½ x 11” paper. Do NOT include the author’s name or address on these sheets.
