Pick Up Penn (& Friendship) - Competitive style

All neighborhoods host clean ups, but you’ve never been to a clean up like this before! Friendship Development Associates is putting a spin on our ordinary Pick Up Penn and is hosting a competitive clean up complete with food and prizes. Participants from all around the Pittsburgh area will be divided into teams armed with gloves and trash bags and sent to a designated pick-up area. For an hour and a half teams will scour the area in search of recyclable and non-recyclable treasures. At the end of the competition, teams will reconvene for an awards ceremony complete with prizes and discover which team retrieved the most trash. So come out on September 20th and be part of a neighborhood clean up like no other! Participants also receive FREE limited edition t-shirts!
