FDA Marketing Committee & Sub-Committees In Search of Members

In 2007, the Marketing Committee and its sub-committees implemented the 2007 marketing plan and hosted several successful events including the Friendship Flower and Folk Festival, 11 Unblurred events, Art Squared, PAAI video launch - Electric Avenue and the 14th Annual Friendship House Tour - Celebrating Glass. We are in search of resourceful, box-breaking, creative thinkers for the Marketing Committee and all 4 sub-committees to implement our work plan in 2008! The Marketing Committee is looking for innovative and creative people who are interested in promoting FDA and the Friendship Community. This committee meets quarterly beginning in February. The 14th Annual Friendship House Tour - Celebrating Glass was a huge success with over 700 people coming to visit the neighborhood. We are looking for new members to carry out the planning and execution of the Friendship House Tour. There are already new and exciting ideas in the works! This committee meets monthly beginning in January. The Friendship Folk and Flower Festival is looking for people to be on the planning committee -- whatever your interest or skill, we can accommodate it and the festival will be richer for it. This committee meets monthly. Website/Branding Committee is in need of members with computer and design skills. Friendship is going to get an identity and FDA will roll out a logo in 2008! Bring your ideas and help with our branding process, please contact Sarah at sarah@friendship-pgh.org. This committee meets monthly beginning in February. The Penn Avenue/Main Street Events Committee will be responsible for all events that occur on Penn Avenue including Unblurred and Art Cubed which will build upon the success of Art Squared hosted together with Lawrenceville artists this past summer.
