Friendship Community Group
Board of Directors

Elizabeth Reitz Schwall

Elizabeth lives on the 300 block of S Aiken with her husband, Alexander, and their two sons. They moved to Friendship in 2021 after living in the South Hills for 12 years. The Schwall family was drawn to the neighborhood for its walkability and diversity. When deciding whether this was the place for them, Elizabeth and Alexander were excited to find the FCG webpage and to read about the established community and fun events going on here.

Elizabeth is the owner of, and practicing child clinical psychologist at Strong Foundations Psychological Associates. Professionally, Elizabeth knows the important role social connectedness plays in promoting mental health. She joined the FCG board after a couple of months of living here because she is passionate about contributing to organizations that create the opportunity for social support and connection as a way to improve the mental health of communities. In the South Hills, Elizabeth was the President of the Upper St Clair Newcomer's Club. Elizabeth served on the FCG board 2021-2023 as the Outreach Chair and is now serving as the F4 Co-chair. In her free time, you will find Elizabeth walking, reading, doing pilates, and traveling.
