Nestled between Shadyside, Bloomfield, East Liberty, and the Penn Avenue Arts District
in Garfield, the neighborhood of Friendship shines with beautiful tree-lined streets, top-
notch restaurants and coffee shops, community gardens, parks and playgrounds, and an
eclectic mix of stately Victorian, Edwardian, and Arts & Crafts homes.

The mission of the Friendship Community Group is to:

  • Strengthen the connective tissue of Friendship by encouraging neighbors' engagement with each other and with the neighborhood as a whole;

  • Enhance the natural beauty, safety, and public health of Friendship;

  • Preserve Friendship's architectural heritage and the aesthetic integrity of residential properties;

  • Support a progressive and engaged approach to promoting a thriving multicultural business and arts community along Friendship's borders.

The Friendship Community Group is a volunteer-based advocacy group for the
neighborhood of Friendship. We maintain this web page for our community to share
upcoming meetings, events, and local news that may be of interest to our neighbors. We
welcome fellow neighbors, both renters and owners, to become involved at any time by
volunteering and/or attending our meetings and events. Hope to see you soon!
